No. There is no guarantee that your maternal ancestry result will be found in Africa. The African Diaspora experience is one where there was mixing of different ethnicities. As a result, there are various ancestries in our family tree.
The MatriClan Test traces a single branch of your mother's family tree. African Ancestry finds African results for 92 out of 100 people who take the test. The remaining 8 out of 100 people will receive a result that is either European, Indigenous American or Asian.
In those cases, no country or "tribe" detail can be provided. Also, it doesn't mean that you don't have any African ancestry. It simply means that out of all of the lineages that make up your famly tree, one is found outside of Africa.
