Gina Paige will launch the African Ancestry Experience with the Indiana African American Genealogy Group at the Indiana State Library. Test kits will be available.

|December 5th||Dr. Kittles will participate in the prestigious Presidential Session during the annual meeting of the American Anthropological Association meeting on 12/5. |November 18th||The ARISE Interest Group at Freddie Mac will hold its own African Ancestry Experience. Gina Paige will reveal the ancestries of several ARISE members.||McLean, VA|
The CBCF's Africa Globalism Committee will convene a panel to discuss the importance of better understanding our heritage. There will be a discussion regarding a range of issues pertaining to the African theme of Sankofa. It will highlight the importance for present and future generations to research and connect with one's history and the significant familial, educational, economic, and philanthropic benefits that often occur as a result of this exploration.
